about us

Flagstaff Federated Community Church is the third oldest church in Flagstaff, Arizona, and the federation of denominations was established in 1916.

The church is multi-denominational: United Methodist, Presbyterian (U.S.A.), and Community. Owing to its past history of inclusiveness, Federated views itself as a theologically progressive congregation.

our vision

A family of Progressive Christian faith
seeking awareness,
challenging injustice,
loving and serving with courage.

Progressive Christianity is a form of Christianity which is characterized by a willingness to question tradition, acceptance of human diversity, a strong emphasis on social justice and care for the poor and the oppressed, and environmental stewardship of the Earth.
