FINANCE & STEWARDSHIP TEAM
The Finance Ministry Team works with the Treasurer and Bookkeeper, together being responsible for regular and ongoing church budget oversight and control during the year, maintains a record of insurance carried on all of the buildings and property of the church, updating and revising as needed, develops an annual "challenge budget" for stewardship campaign purposes, consulting leaders of other ministry teams with respect to their team's budgetary needs, considers United Methodist and Presbyterian budgetary recommendations as the church operating budget is prepared, encourages new members to financially support the mission and ministries of the church, receives, invests, and accounts for all permanent gifts of any nature, and promotes the Huncilman Fund grants, reviews grant proposals, and recommend them to the Board of Trustees for selection.

The Stewardship Ministry Team develops an annual fall stewardship campaign, encouraging every member and constituent to financially support the mission and ministries of the church, and support the mission and ministries of the church with their time and talents.
